Each weight in this listing ships with a screw and washer included as a convenience, but the factory screw is the safer choice if it's in good condition. If your original screw is damaged or missing, the included hardware will work for most installations, just verify seating and torque carefully before play.

Rear weighting generally promotes higher launch, increased spin, and greater forgiveness by moving the center of gravity farther back in the clubhead. Forward weighting typically produces lower launch and lower spin for golfers seeking a more penetrating ball flight. Positioning weight toward the heel can help the clubface close more easily, promoting a draw-biased ball flight. Moving weight toward the toe tends to slow face rotation, which can help reduce a hook and encourage a fade-biased shot shape.

The weight stamped on the product represents the total installed weight system, including the weight, screw, and washer. Because the screw and washer typically contribute approximately 1.5–2 grams, the raw weight of the metal weight itself will be lighter than the marked value. This is an important distinction when searching for TaylorMade TAS weight conversions or matching a specific factory-installed weight.

Each order quantity of 1 includes one (1) individual weight in your selected gram option. Multiple weights and color variations may appear in our listing photos to showcase the available options, demonstrate installation, or provide product context — but a single quantity at checkout means one weight will be shipped.

For context, golf club heads from major manufacturers typically carry a tolerance of ±1–2 grams, and golf grips and shafts often have similar or larger variances. Our ±0.5g target is held to a higher standard than most of the components already in your bag. For products that include a screw and/or washer, listed weights reflect the total weight of the component including the screw and/or washer that ship with the product as an "installed unit weight."
