Replacement Weights for TaylorMade Qi35 Drivers and Qi4D Drivers, Fairways, and Hybrids.

Premium machined replacement TAS head weights designed for TaylorMade Qi4D drivers, fairways, hybrids, and Qi35 drivers. Available in 1-gram increments from 2g to 16g, allowing precise adjustment of swing weight and ball flight.

All weights ship with the screw and washer required for installation.

Please note that while Qi35, Qi4D, and R7 weights share the same dimensions, the printed patterns on original factory weights may vary by model. All weights we currently stock are made with the newer Qi4D style markings.

The listed weight includes the screw and washer that ship with the product. The number stamped on the weight represents the total installed weight of the entire system (weight + screw + washer), not the raw weight of the weight itself.

The screw and washer typically account for approximately 1.5–2 grams of the total listed weight.

Example:
If you need approximately 9 grams of raw weight, we recommend ordering an 11 gram weight system to achieve the correct installed weight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I reuse my original TaylorMade factory screw, or use the one that comes with this replacement weight?

We recommend reusing your original factory screw where possible, as screw length and thread type can vary between TaylorMade models and generations and using the wrong screw risks an improper fit or insufficient torque. Each weight in this listing ships with a screw and washer included as a convenience, but the factory screw is the safer choice if it's in good condition. If your original screw is damaged or missing, the included hardware will work for most installations, just verify seating and torque carefully before play.

How does weight position in a Qi4D driver affect ball flight?

Rear weighting generally promotes higher launch, increased spin, and greater forgiveness by moving the center of gravity farther back in the clubhead. Forward weighting typically produces lower launch and lower spin for golfers seeking a more penetrating ball flight. Positioning weight toward the heel can help the clubface close more easily, promoting a draw-biased ball flight. Moving weight toward the toe tends to slow face rotation, which can help reduce a hook and encourage a fade-biased shot shape.

Why does the listed weight differ from the raw weight of the TAS head weight itself?

The weight stamped on the product represents the total installed weight system, including the weight, screw, and washer. Because the screw and washer typically contribute approximately 1.5–2 grams, the raw weight of the metal weight itself will be lighter than the marked value. This is an important distinction when searching for TaylorMade TAS weight conversions or matching a specific factory-installed weight.

How many weights will I receive per order?

Each order quantity of 1 includes one (1) individual weight in your selected gram option. Multiple weights and color variations may appear in our listing photos to showcase the available options, demonstrate installation, or provide product context — but a single quantity at checkout means one weight will be shipped.

If you need multiple weights, simply adjust your quantity at checkout or add each gram option individually to your cart.

Are the listed weights exact, and what are the manufacturing tolerances?

Due to standard manufacturing tolerances, the exact weight of each component may vary slightly from the listed gram value. Our target tolerance is ±0.5 grams, and in practice our components frequently exceed that standard — meaning real-world variance is often even tighter than our published tolerance.

For context, golf club heads from major manufacturers typically carry a tolerance of ±1–2 grams, and golf grips and shafts often have similar or larger variances. Our ±0.5g target is held to a higher standard than most of the components already in your bag. For products that include a screw and/or washer, listed weights reflect the total weight of the component including the screw and/or washer that ship with the product as an "installed unit weight."

These minor variations do not significantly impact performance and are well within accepted industry standards. Please review these tolerances before purchasing. By placing an order you acknowledge these variations as a normal part of precision manufacturing. If you have any questions before ordering, feel free to contact us.
