Which Callaway Quantum Adapter to Order
The Callaway Quantum line is possibly one of the most confusing families of clubs for shaft adapter compatibility. With Callaway's shift to the OptiFit 4 adapter happening slowly generation by generation, choosing the right adapter for your Quantum driver, mini driver, fairway wood, or hybrid is as difficult as ever.
The first shift to OptiFit 4 was the hybrid line, starting last year with Elyte and continuing with Quantum. Callaway then transitioned their fairway wood adapter to OptiFit 4 with the Quantum release.
Simply ordering by family name (Quantum, Elyte, etc.) isn't enough to ensure compatbility. Here's a quick rundown of where things stand:

The Mini Driver Is the Easy Miss
The Quantum Mini Driver looks like a small driver. It does not take the driver adapter. It takes the OptiFit 4 fairway adapter (.335), same as the Quantum 3-wood.
That's a change from last year. The Elyte Mini used the driver adapter. If you already have an Elyte Mini shaft you like, it will not drop into a Quantum Mini without a new adapter.
Previous Adapters Do Not Fit A Quantum Fairway Wood
Prior-generation fairway adapters, OptiFit 3 and anything older, do not fit Quantum fairways or the Quantum Mini Driver. The geometry changed with OptiFit 4.
OptiFit 4 Has Not Been Released For Driver
Any adapter labeled OptiFit 4 is not a driver adapter. Quantum and Elyte drivers both stay with OptiFit 2, the same driver sleeve Callaway has offered with AI Smoke, Paradym, and previous generations.
We can assume given the slow roll out generation by generation that OptiFit 4 will eventually make it's way to the driver family, but that has not happened or been announced at the time of writing.
