Frequently Asked Questions

Does the OptiFit 2 adapter work across all Callaway driver generations, or only newer models like the Quantum and Elyte?

The OptiFit 2 adapter is one of the most widely compatible sleeves Callaway has produced — it fits driver models spanning from the Epic Flash generation through Mavrik, Rogue, Paradym, Ai Smoke, Elyte, and the current Quantum lineup, making it the correct adapter for the vast majority of adjustable Callaway drivers on the market. This broad compatibility makes it a practical choice for fitters who work across multiple Callaway generations or golfers who switch heads frequently. If you're unsure which OptiFit generation your driver uses, OptiFit 2 is the most common and the right starting point for most Callaway drivers built after 2019.

Will this OptiFit 2 driver adapter also fit Callaway fairway wood heads, or is it driver-only?

The OptiFit 2 adapter in this listing is configured for drivers. The driver and fairway wood adapters use different sleeve geometries and are not interchangeable. If you're building a fairway wood shaft, look specifically for an OptiFit fairway adapter matched to your head's generation.

What do the settings on the Callaway OptiFit 2 hosel change?

The OptiFit 2 adjustable hosel allows golfers to modify loft and lie settings to influence launch angle, trajectory, and shot shape. Proper adjustments can help optimize ball flight, improve consistency, and fine-tune driver performance.

How many shaft adapters will I receive per order?

Each order quantity of 1 includes one (1) individual shaft adapter in the selected configuration. Product photos may show multiple adapters, installed examples, or different adapter options to illustrate compatibility and installation, but a quantity of one at checkout equals one adapter.

If you need adapters for multiple shafts or different club models, simply adjust the quantity at checkout or add each adapter configuration separately to your cart.

Is a screw provided with the shaft adapter?

Yes. Any screws and washers required for installation are included with the shaft adapter when applicable.
