Frequently Asked Questions

Is this Cobra FutureFit33 adapter compatible with previous Cobra driver models like the Darkspeed, Aerojet, or LTDx?

No, the FutureFit33 is a new hosel architecture specific to the OPTM and DS-Adapt platforms and is not backward compatible with older Cobra drivers such as the Darkspeed, Aerojet, or LTDx. Older generations use earlier adapter designs with a different cog and sleeve geometry.

Can I use the same FutureFit33 adapter for both a Cobra OPTM driver and a Cobra OPTM fairway wood, or do I need separate adapters?

Yes, the FutureFit33 adapter in this listing is designed to work across both driver and fairway wood heads within the OPTM and DS-Adapt platforms. Just confirm your shaft tip is .335 regardless of whether you're building a driver or fairway wood, as both use the same tip diameter in this system.

What do the 33 settings on the Cobra FutureFit33 hosel do?

The Cobra FutureFit33 system provides 33 unique loft and lie combinations to help golfers optimize launch angle, spin, and shot shape.

How many shaft adapters will I receive per order?

Each order quantity of 1 includes one (1) individual shaft adapter in the selected configuration. Product photos may show multiple adapters, installed examples, or different adapter options to illustrate compatibility and installation, but a quantity of one at checkout equals one adapter.

If you need adapters for multiple shafts or different club models, simply adjust the quantity at checkout or add each adapter configuration separately to your cart.

Is a screw provided with the shaft adapter?

Yes. Any screws and washers required for installation are included with the shaft adapter when applicable.
