The Ping G440 hybrid and G440 fairway woods share the same sole weight port design, and these replacement weights fit both club types identically using the same T25 Torx torque wrench. This is particularly useful for golfers or builders working across a matched set of G440 fairways and hybrids, as a single weight purchase covers both without needing separate parts.

The G440 Max is the most forgiving of the three, the LST is a low-spin option suited to faster swing speeds seeking a flatter ball flight, and the SFT is draw-biased for golfers who tend to fade or miss right. All three share the same sole weight port and accept these replacement weights identically, so the tuning process is consistent across the lineup. Where the model difference matters is in baseline CG position.

Upper-range weights in the 20g–24g bracket are most commonly used in very short builds where swing weight needs to be significantly increased to bring the club into a playable range. For standard re-shafts using conventional shaft weights, most builds land in the 8g–14g range — the upper end of this listing exists for edge cases in professional fitting and custom builds rather than typical off-the-shelf setups.

Due to standard manufacturing tolerances, the exact weight of each component may vary slightly from the listed gram value. Our target tolerance is ±0.5 grams, and in practice our components frequently exceed that standard — meaning real-world variance is often even tighter than our published tolerance.

For context, golf club heads from major manufacturers typically carry a tolerance of ±1–2 grams, and golf grips and shafts often have similar or larger variances. Our ±0.5g target is held to a higher standard than most of the components already in your bag. For products that include a screw and/or washer, listed weights reflect the total weight of the component including the screw and/or washer that ship with the product as an "installed unit weight."

These minor variations do not significantly impact performance and are well within accepted industry standards. Please review these tolerances before purchasing.
