Frequently Asked Questions

Do these Titleist GT3 weights fit GT3 fairway woods as well as the GT3 driver?

No. Although the GT3 fairway weight looks very similar to the GT3 driver sliding weight, the fairway version is smaller and is not interchangeable with the driver weight. These replacement weights are designed specifically for the Titleist GT3 driver adjustable CG track and will not fit GT3 fairway woods.

What does moving the sliding weight on a Titleist GT3 driver do?

The GT3 driver's adjustable CG track allows golfers to shift the center of gravity to influence shot shape and impact location. Moving the weight toward the heel can help promote a draw bias, while positioning it toward the toe can help reduce a left miss and encourage a fade bias. Many players use the sliding weight system during driver fitting to fine-tune performance without changing shafts.

Can I install more than one weight in a Titleist GT3 driver track?

Yes. The Titleist GT3 driver features five positions within the adjustable CG track, allowing golfers to install a single weight or multiple lighter weights in different locations. For example, two 4g weights can be used instead of one 8g weight, giving club builders additional flexibility to fine-tune both total head weight and center-of-gravity placement. This makes the GT3 weight system especially useful for custom fitting and shot shape optimization.

How many weights will I receive per order?

Each order quantity of 1 includes one (1) individual weight in your selected gram option. Multiple weights and color variations may appear in our listing photos to showcase the available options, demonstrate installation, or provide product context — but a single quantity at checkout means one weight will be shipped.

If you need multiple weights, simply adjust your quantity at checkout or add each gram option individually to your cart.

Are the listed weights exact, and what are the manufacturing tolerances?

Due to standard manufacturing tolerances, the exact weight of each component may vary slightly from the listed gram value. Our target tolerance is ±0.5 grams, and in practice our components frequently exceed that standard — meaning real-world variance is often even tighter than our published tolerance.

For context, golf club heads from major manufacturers typically carry a tolerance of ±1–2 grams, and golf grips and shafts often have similar or larger variances. Our ±0.5g target is held to a higher standard than most of the components already in your bag. For products that include a screw and/or washer, listed weights reflect the total weight of the component including the screw and/or washer that ship with the product as an "installed unit weight."

These minor variations do not significantly impact performance and are well within accepted industry standards. Please review these tolerances before purchasing. By placing an order you acknowledge these variations as a normal part of precision manufacturing. If you have any questions before ordering, feel free to contact us.
